The National Welding Training Institute was established by the support of the Government of Germany based on selection by the Engineering Capacity Building Program (ECBP).

MIE was selected for its capacity and experience in the welding technology. The welding institute is currently providing TIG, MAG, Arc and Gas welding trainings for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in levels I, II, III and for senior welders and international welders depending on requests made to the company from external customers and internal welders.
